your family pictures
Family pictures are so important; they tell your family's story. You should have the best images possible to proudly display in your home and pass down to future generations. Whether you're a native of Knoxville, TN, or visiting the Great Smoky Mountains, Alisha Bacon Photography is honored to be there for all of your Knoxville photography needs. Her goal is to provide you with gorgeous photos of your family with minimal stress and maximum fun.
No matter what stage of life your family is in, Alisha Bacon Photography is here to capture it: new additions, milestones, family reunions or anything in between. She is happy to help you develop your family photography ideas into stunning portraits of your family.
When planning your family pictures, think about what type you want. Are you looking for traditional posed portraits, or capturing candid memories? Both have their merits. If you're torn, consider doing two shorter photo sessions; one posed, and one lifestyle. That way you get the best of both worlds.
If you've never heard of a lifestyle session, they are fun, casual, candid sessions that are meant to capture you being YOU. They are usually done in your home, but can be done at almost any location. Some popular ideas for lifestyle sessions include: family game night, baking cookies, reading to your little ones, picnics, family outings, etc. They're a ton of fun for everyone.
Posed family portraits are the more popular option. These are your traditional pictures of the entire family and different groupings within the family. No matter which type of family pictures you prefer, Alisha wants you and you and your family to have fun while creating memories. Family pictures can be stressful, even for photographers, and you should be able to look back at your photos with fond memories and no stress filled ones. As an added bonus, when you're having fun, it shows in your portraits!
Unlike some Knoxville photographers or portrait studios, Alisha Bacon Photography doesn't have a certain amount of poses that you'll do during your family session. Instead, several different poses and groupings will be done ( as many as time allows). If you have any ideas of images that you'd like to re-create, please let her know and she will be happy to incorporate as many as possible during your photography session.
