I love babies! I mean, I really love these sweet babies that I get to work with. Little Lucy was such a sweetie <3. She came to visit me right in the middle of a baby boom! Five baby girls, all photographed within a ten day span in my Knoxville studio. Let's just say, even after five, sweet baby girls, I still haven't had enough of cuddling babies.

As a special treat, Lucy's grandma got to come and watch her session, and might have even been volunteered to assist me in composite pose ( two images put together in photoshop for babies safety!). Grandma was so smitten with her; just beautiful!

Awake Knoxville Newborn Pictures

Lucy decided that her Mommy would really love some beautiful newborn portraits with her eyes open. The sweet girl was so patient while I posed her, even wide awake; after a wiggle or two, she was such happy girl, looking right at the camera. That's so rare for newborns, and so beautiful!

Sweet girl fought sleep for a little while, but once she fell asleep, she was ASLEEP. We got to have so much fun with different props and poses. Lucy was amazing to transfer from my curved bench over to the beanbag for my classic newborn pictures.

Posed Newborn Pictures

Newborns are best posed when deep asleep, although that doesn't mean you can't get beautiful awake image ( just go look above!); it allows you to get those squishy, adorable poses like these.

I have such a hard time narrowing down newborn pictures for my blog! They're all so darling. Who could ever have enough of looking at this sweet face?

Meet baby Bellamy! She's quite the little nugget who decided it was time to meet the world a few weeks early. We had a grand old time snuggling during her session to get those sweet, sweet newborn pictures while her her Mommy and Daddy had a few quiet minutes.

My bigger studio allows parents to grab a cup of coffee, kick up their feet, and relax while I take care of everything. Sweet babies are in great care during their session, and it allows parents to tick a few things off their to-do list, or just relax.

Bellamy started off just a bit fussy, but quickly relaxed and gave us beautiful newborn pictures! She even threw us a smile! Her Mommy had requested a princess carriage set up for her little princess, and I'm happy to report that Bellamy rocked it!

Babies like her almost make me want another, but thankfully she gave me my fill of cuddles before heading home with her sweet parents.

Check out just how gorgeous she is yourself!

Oh how I adore my time with sweet babies! This beautiful girl was no different; she was the sweetest thing! Plus her parents were open to all of my fun ideas for her session! I snuck in lots of baby snuggles, which might just be the best part of my job.

Outdoor Newborn Pictures

I just love the outdoors ( especially our beautiful Smoky Mountains!!!), so I was over the moon when Stella's Mom and Dad agreed to let me take her outside for a few pictures. We got to break out one of newest props and she did amazing! It threatened to rain the whole time, but held off until just after we finished. The result is perfection!

Lace Basket and Floral Wreath Newborn Pictures

Next, I used a beautiful, delicate basket for miss Stella decked out in light purple. It was beautiful! Stella rocked every pose I could throw at her. And that sweet teddy bear? Just perfect!

Floral is on my top ten list of favorite things! I love working some floral setups in my girly newborn sessions. Little miss was wide awake for these and oh-so cute.

We ended Stella's session on the beanbag with beautiful colors that match her nursery. I adore how her dark hair looks on this vintage teal! She's a little doll <3
